All rebuilt and working as intended.
There was a push pull output transformer fitted to a single ended amplifier. It has the full 16k impedance for the EL84. Not good at all. Now it has a new output transformer designed to match the EL84 and the board has been cleaned up with tone controls fitted. Sounds awesome!
