Advance Signal Generator. Made in England circa 1955 …

Bottom left of photo is a standard 2Watt Carbon Resistor. The value is read; Body = Violet. Tip = Green. Dot = Orange. Standard colour code still stands but values differed from the norm. 75kiloΩ is the value and it reads a little high at 75.3k. As it has a gold band = 5% it is well within tolerance for a 63 year old machine!

Now fully restored producing a frequency range of 15hZ up to 50khZ a near perfect sine wave and up to 15v p-p. 17.5hZ is candle flicker frequency, for those with a scientific leaning. Very useful.
