Vox LongJohn Mk2 dated 1965, repairs were successful and setting up the bias current with a new EL84 valve plus replacing most of the carbon resistors and a few capacitors, it now performs as it should.
This is a fore runner to the Copy Cat and build quality is good as it has seen a lot of service.
The slide switch selects the number of playback heads in use for a slow or fast echo effect.
